In the pursuit of becoming a better person, I’ve found that the simplest and most effective approach is to embody goodness rather than overthinking its definition. This active pursuit of virtue serves as a guiding principle, urging me to prioritize action over analysis and to focus on becoming the best version of myself. It’s a call to action, urging me to look beyond theoretical definitions and find inspiration in the real-life examples of those around me. When I witness acts of kindness, integrity, or selflessness, it ignites within me a desire to cultivate those same qualities.

You too can find inspiration in the examples set by others. Don’t get caught up in theoretical debates about morality; look for the people who are actively living a good life. Pay attention to their actions, their choices, and the way they treat others. Let their example be your guide, and strive to emulate the qualities that resonate with your soul. By following in the footsteps of those who inspire you, you’ll unlock your own potential for goodness. Dear God, guide us towards those who embody the virtues we aspire to. Help us to recognize and appreciate their goodness, and to learn from their example. Grant us the wisdom to discern true virtue and the strength to integrate it into our own lives. May we be inspired by the good in others, and may we strive to become beacons of light in the world.
